Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A few weeks ago, I announced that we were launching the supervision book on 16 March. It seems I was a bit ambitious! Getting the book ready for release is a lot more work than I expected. I’ve been working on it every spare moment, but it’s not quite ready.

The main reason for the delay is that it’s now 34 chapters long, and full of practical tips, strategies, and resource suggestions. Check out the revised table of contents:

Part 2: A lot about practice

  • Chapter 14: Things to Avoid and Things to Do
  • Chapter 15: The Circle of Competence
  • Chapter 16: Training and Motivation
  • Chapter 17: Set High Expectations for all Employees

  • Chapter 21: Back your Team to make Work Hospitable for Everyone
  • Chapter 22: You can evaluate Staff without being “Judgy”
  • Chapter 23: Stop Micromanaging

I’m also working on a series of screencasts and practice templates that supervisors can use to improve their systems and practices. We’re close to being ready, and I’m working hard to make it worth your wait. Thanks for your patience!
