David Kinnane owns and manages Banter Speech & Language in North Strathfield, Sydney.
David:

holds a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney; and was the Dean’s Scholar for academic excellence for his year;

is a Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, an elected member of SPA’s Ethics Board, and a member of SPA’s Professional Standards Advisory Committee;

is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Hong Kong, having enjoyed a successful legal career with international law firms and a global investment bank in Hong Kong and Sydney;

is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney’s Graduate School of Health in Speech Pathology;
- is a board member of SPELD NSW;

is the author of several free ebooks for families, including the Big Book of Child Speech Pathology Answers, Reading Problems and What to do About Them, and the Lidcombe Program for Stuttering Therapy Activities Book; and

owns and manages The Provider Loft, an online publishing company producing templates, and policies and procedures for NDIS and health providers.
David is Hanen– and LSVT LOUD certified. He is trained in the Spalding Method for literacy, the Lidcombe and Camperdown Programs for stuttering, and Voicecraft for voice disorders. David is also a Certified PESL Instructor for accent modification.
Unlike 97% of Australian speech-language pathologists, David is a bloke. He’s also a husband, a father of two boys, a novelist for young adults, and a past President of his local St Vincent de Paul Conference.

Vivien Wong
Vivien Wong is an enthusiastic and dedicated speech pathologist, who is committed to providing high quality services for children and their families. As a bilingual therapist, she has experience supporting English and Cantonese speaking families and strives to bridge any communication barriers which may hinder their access to excellent services.
Vivien provides assessment and intervention for children of all ages across a range of difficulties and has worked across a variety of settings, providing intervention for individual clients, in small group settings and within multiple schools.
She is passionate in partnering with families in all aspects of service, from assessment to therapy. She understands that each family is unique and that they are experts on their child’s abilities and needs. Vivien strives to collaborate with families to develop functional, realistic and achievable goals and works hard to ensure therapy is individualised, fun and engaging. She communicates closely with health professionals and educators to provide holistic care for all her clients.
Vivien completed her Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) degree at the University of Sydney and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. Vivien is Hanen-certified, trained in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering and certified in the Sounds-Write literacy program.
Beyond speech pathology, Vivien is heavily involved in her church community and is currently involved in releasing children from poverty through regular sponsorship programs. In her spare time, she loves to sing and record songs, read, play video games, and spend time with family and friends.

Emma Robinson
Emma is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist, who enjoys working together with adults, children and their families to help improve their day-to-day lives. She believes in the importance of providing intervention that is evidence-based, client-centred and individually tailored to each client.
Emma has a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney and is a Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia, and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. Emma is Hanen-certified and trained in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering, and the Sounds-Write literacy program.
In addition to speech pathology, Emma has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Sydney, provides private clarinet lessons and is extensively involved in a number of community music ensembles. In her spare time, Emma enjoys cooking, participating in charity bike rides and spending time with family and friends.
Emma sees clients at Banter Speech & Language on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Juliana Li
Juliana is a dedicated speech pathologist who has worked in speech pathology clinics, childcare centres, schools and homes to support clients’ participation within their communities. She strongly believes in having fun while learning!
Juliana has experience providing assessment and treatment to children and adults of all ages, including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorders and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Juliana provides treatment for language delays, stuttering, speech sound difficulties, literacy skill difficulties and social skills development. Juliana has also used Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and systems to expand clients’ communicative ability. She has a particular interest in speech sound disorders, literacy and recently, hearing loss.
Juliana graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor in Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist Member of Speech Pathology Australia. Juliana is committed to continual professional development to ensure quality, evidence-based practice and is Hanen-certified, and trained in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering and the Sounds-Write literacy program.
Juliana is a big kid at heart and loves the visual arts, having an interest in illustration, design, animation, comics and video games (she is a big Nintendo fan in particular). Additionally, Juliana enjoys learning about psychology, philosophy and world history to better understand people from all walks of life. Her friends and clients value her patience and understanding.

Cherie Finocchiaro
Cherie is an energetic and enthusiastic speech pathologist, who focuses on collaborating closely with clients and their families to assist in providing high quality assessment and intervention, by integrating client goals and interests, and the most recent clinical evidence. Cherie enjoys working with both adults and children and feels that building a positive rapport with clients can greatly enhance therapy outcomes.
Cherie graduated with a Bachelor in Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney, and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and Member of Speech Pathology Australia. Cherie is also trained in the Sounds-Write literacy program, and the Lidcombe Program for stuttering. Cherie is Hanen-certified and is an LSVT LOUD certified clinician.
Apart from her love of speech pathology, Cherie is a competitive ballroom dancer, who spends much of her extra time practising and competing internationally. When Cherie is not dancing, she loves going to the gym or the beach, ice skating, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
