Written and spoken language can be ambiguous, including homophones, homonyms, homographs, some complex sentences, and “garden path” sentences. In this video blog, David looks at ambiguous language, summarises some of the research on why children with language disorders have particular difficulties resolving ambiguities, and provides some evidence-based strategies to help.
