Description

At around 48-54 months of age, typically developing children are able to express how objects, people and living things are the same by reference to attributes such as category, function/use, parts, and location. Some people – including people learning English as a second language, people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and people with language disorders have difficulties understanding and/or expressing how two items – that often look very different – go together, or are the same.
