Stuttering-Affirming Therapy

Stuttering-affirming care recognises stuttering as a valid and natural way of speaking. Rather than focusing solely on “fixing” fluency, we support individuals to build confidence, self-advocacy, and communication skills in ways that feel authentic and empowering.  

Therapy includes exploring fluency strategies, increasing comfort with stuttering moments, and reducing the impact of stigma while creating space for you to speak freely and be heard.  

Our goal is not just more fluent speech, but stronger communication, connection, and quality of life.

Sessions: 

  • Initial consultation (1 hour)
  • 4x Therapy sessions (each 45 minutes)

Additional:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Tune up sessions
